My name is Heather DiMeo. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2006 with a B.S in Elementary Education and a minor in English. I have been teaching since 2006 and have experience in grades K, 1, 2 and 5. Throughout my years in education, I have attended some of the highest quality trainings a teacher can have, such as, Leader in Me, Thinking Maps, Kagan structures and more. I also have experience in Special Education as I obtained my certificate for ESE (Exceptional Student Education) in the state of Florida. There, I worked with other teachers in an inclusion classroom and created IEP's to make sure every student was reached in the classroom.
I live here in Timberlake with my husband Paul and two children Collins and Gionni, who also attend Helena. I spend all of my free time with my family. I love to read, shop and catch up on reality TV when I am not driving the Mom taxi everywhere!
